Neon Drifter

The game is built to be accessible on almost any device:

• Mouse: Move the cursor left and right to steer.
• Touch: Drag your finger across the screen to dodge obstacles.
• Gamepad: If a controller is connected, use the Left Analog Stick to steer (perfect for that classic arcade feel).

🚀 Difficulty Scaling (Hardcore Mode)

The game doesn't stay easy for long! As you progress:

• Speed: Your ship accelerates over time.
• Obstacles: The gaps between barriers get smaller, and the rate at which they appear increases.
• Difficulty Tiers: Watch the top right corner! The game moves through Normal, Fast, Extreme, and Insane modes based on your current speed.
• Visual Glitches: When you reach "Extreme" speeds, the screen may experience digital "glitches," making it harder to stay focused.

👥 Game Modes

1. Solo Mission: Race alone to beat your personal best.
   • Ghost Racer: If you have a previous high score saved, a translucent white "ghost" ship will appear, showing you exactly how you performed on your best run.
2. Quick Match (1v1): Connect to the cloud to find another player.
   • You can see the other player's ship (in pink) in real-time.
   • The host of the match controls the global game speed.

🏆 Global Rankings

Every time you finish a run, your score is uploaded to the Global Leaderboard. You can see the top 5 pilots in the world directly on the main menu.

• Backend: Real-time synchronization and storage using Cloud Firestore.
• Personalization: Your chosen "Callsign" is saved to your profile so people know who is at the top of the charts!
